Building your own custom 3D Printer is not a big challenge when the entire world of knowledge is available for you when you open your laptop. I started playfully trying to build a 3D printer, went through articles after articles and good other YouTube channels as well before i dive deep into this.

I started procuring my 3D printer raw materials through nova3d (one stop for all your 3D printer materials), honestly the list is huge and the money that i spent in this project is also more. The cost of the entire things was over 15k INR. Of course some may argue that you can buy the printer a little lower than 15K, but the satisfaction and the knowledge it gave me was well worth more than 15K.  I really got to know the nuances of many things. 3D printer is all about precisions, you miss an alignment or a thing? you will end up finding it after wasting 3 to 5 hours of your golden time. Honestly this pandemic time was well spent :). 

It took me 15 to 20 days after the raw materials arrived to complete this entire build, Lots of lessons learnt and lots of trial cost as well. I managed to materialise many of my own ideas than the regular shop products. All the sizing’s, how to make it and what are the small yet significant things, i have covered in my YouTube video.

A Video tutorial is added for more understanding on how the product was built. I hope it explains most of the sections. Few things which i wanted to highlight is, this video will not coach you on how to build a 3D printer as there are many YouTube videos available for those, rather it you can find some small yet significant things which might be useful during your build.

Obviously, No review or how to build channel can coach or teach you how to do it, the effort has to come within you to find out most of the common stuffs in building it. Trust me when you do it the satisfaction is guaranteed.
